So at AnimeExpo this year I cosplayed Mako from the Legend of Korra. I had a fun time all weekend firebending except for when there was a misfire right into my face. No damage apart from some singed eyebrow and hair.

I made a flash gun which I wired into the glove. The fuel source was merely pieces of flash paper. Add a spark and the pressure will take care of the rest.

I'm making another soon so maybe I'll add a tutorial if it's requested enough.

Oh That's awesome!...Well, not the misfire of course! But your cosplay is really good and if you do make a tutorial, I'll be sure to look it up! :D I always like seeing how Avatar cosplayers show their character's bending for pictures and vids and stuff. I actually don't have anything currently that I carry for my Toph cosplay :P but there's plenty of outdoor areas at cons which is good!
